Lighting: They accept a wide range of lighting conditions, from bright to low light.
Water: Allow the soil to dry completely before watering. This could be as little as once every 4 to 6 weeks, depending on the amount of light it gets per day. They store water in a rhizome like a succulent stores water in its leaves.
Soil: A standard cactus/succulent mix with added perlite.
Repotting: Use a pot no more than 2″ larger than the rhizome. Make sure to keep the soil line at the same level on the stalk; planting too deep in the new pot can lead to rot in the stalk.
